Shaina and Andres, a match made in Chile. Shaina has been one of my closest friends in college, so when she asked me to come and take photos for her and Andres, of course I said yes! Shaina had lots of great ideas, and although he doesn't speak much English, Andres was great as well. And since we couldn't really have the shoot on a beautiful Chilean beach, sunny Messiah's campus worked as a perfect runner-up.
My three friends Jane, Marlaina, and Alicia all asked me to take senior portraits for them. Since we're all great friends, we decided to do the whole shoot together, and it was lots of fun. Each of these three women are beautiful new graduates, they deserve beautiful portraits! I also got to put my sick photoshop skills to practice in one of the shots....a very good learning experience. :)
My friend Loni plays guitar and sings and is beautiful. She asked me to take some portraits for her for a more professional image, and so of course I agreed! The ground was a little muddy due to the torrential downpours that will hopefully bloom lots of May flowers, but we worked around it and the photos turned out great! Here are my favorites.
Sarah and Susanna are best friends, who both happen to be graduating from two different colleges on the exact same day. So since they cannot attend one another's graduations, and both wanted some senior photos taken, they decided it would be nice to take their photos together. Since Susanna is my roommate, she asked me to take their photos while Sarah was here for a visit last weekend. It was a delightful shoot, the air was the kind of brisk that comes around right before it turns spring, and even though the sun wasn't out and the ground was a bit damp, these girls proved to be lovely models. Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot!
I just went back and revisited these portraits that I did of my brother this summer. I've learned a few new tricks in photoshop, and that, combined with the new lens I got for Christmas this year has made me extremely excited about photography again!
When my computer begins acting as he should, I will hopefully be able to upload the new shots I was able to get this weekend. Playground + Spring + Old Friends + Camera = Bliss. :)
